Fees
Rates and fees:
  Contact the camp directly for current season fees and rates.
Other Interest Groups:
  Craft supplies and certain other activity fees will be deducted from your deposit of money in the camp bank, made the day of arrival. Depending on activities and store purchases, $5.00 to $20.00 should be ample.
Store Items:
  Store Stock consists of 4-H tee shirts, 4-H sweatshirts, ice cream, candy, post cards, stamps, 4-H pencils, pens and small gift items. 

Postcards, 4-H tee shirts and sweatshirts, candy, ice cream, etc. deducted daily from your bank deposit, as well as any fees for activities, such as Crafts, Baskets, Rockets, and Leather, that use special materials.

Insurance:
  Insurance and medical benefits up to $3,000 per accident, and up to $1,000 for any illness, are included in the above mentioned camper fee.
Camperships:
  Camperships, are available on a limited basis to those who need full or partial assistance to ensure children can attend 4-H Camp. Information is available through Elsie Woolam, Camp Administrator, 1225 Main St., South Windsor, Conn. 06074-2410. Requests will be considered on the basis of need and 4-H interest.
Sunday Arrival
Counselors:
  Counselors are to report to camp between 10:30 and 11:00. Please bring any camp forms and Store Money to the Red Shepard House before the Counselor Meeting. The Counselor Meeting will be held in Upper Baldwin Hall starting at 11:30.
Camper Registration:
  Camper Registration runs from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Please bring the Camp Health Form, the Authorization to Administer Medication Form, and the Code of Conduct Form along with any balance due for Camper Fee as well as any store money for your child's use. Checks may be made out to Hartford county 4-H Camp Inc. Checks and Cash are accepted. However, No Credit Cards are Accepted.
Parents: please have campers leave jewelry, expensive clothing, radios, skateboards, snack foods and cell phones at home.
Saturday Departure
Camper Pickup is from 9:30 to 11:00 AM
Counselor Pickup is at 11:00 AM
Health Form and Parent Statement
  We require a doctor's statement indicating the camper has had a physical examination by a physician within 36 months of the date of arrival at camp. 

We also require a parent's statement which gives the camp nurse essential information about the camper's health in previous years. Both statements are included in one form. It will be sent to each camper with their acceptance letter and MUST be brought to camp the Sunday of arrival. A physician is on call and a nurse is in attendance 24 hours a day. Emergency hospitalization has been arranged at nearby hospitals.

Mail
  Campers enjoy receiving mail! Write a letter and drop it in the mail Sunday evening or Monday, to ensure delivery before the week's end.

Note: Campers must not bring radios or skateboards. Please note that Hartford County 4-H Camp, Inc. is not responsible for loss of personal articles brought to camp.
