| Hartford County 4-H
Camp, Inc. serves over one thousand children each summer through (8)
one week sessions. We service youngsters ages 9 through 14 and host a
session for Mini Campers - age 7 and 8. We hire program and activity
instructors who are enthusiastic, hard working, and caring
individuals to make our camp successful and memorable for each
camper. Applications are accepted starting in January and accepted
until positions are filled. Interviews generally are held in March.
The hiring process is performed by the Staff Procurement Committed of
the Hartford County 4-H Camp Board of Trustees. Please refer to the
attached letter from our Camp Director and application for details on
applying. You must be at least 18 and some positions older based on
state requirements.
Applications are accepted starting in January. Due date for
returning staff is March 2, 2012 and for new applicants is March 16th

Procurement Committed of Hartford County Staff Positions: Cabin Coordinator(20+ yrs) Water Front Staff- Swim, Boat, Life Guard, Director(20yrs+) Horse Staff - English, Western, Director: (20+ yrs) Archery Instructor Various Sports Instructors Fishing Instructor Nature Instructor Outpost camping/cooking Instructor Arts & Craft Instructors Dance/Drama Instructor Low Ropes/Challenge Course Instructor, Store, Kitchen Assistant, Dish room, Nurses(21+yrs)and others as needed.
