CAMP PROGRAMS

Coed Mini Camp
|
|
|
A Coed Mini Camp for 7 and 8 year olds interested in
Crafts, Nature, Recreation, Swimming, and a Sleep Over will introduce the
younger set to camp experiences. Cost is $55 per camper. Arrival 10:00 a.m., Wednesday June 26, and
departure 7:00 p.m., Thursday
June 27.

Traditional Camp Weekly Sessions
|
|
|
At Hartford County 4-H Camp, seven, one-week coed sessions
of tribe activities; camp fires; interest groups such as Horse Back Riding,
Archery, Swimming, Boating, Nature, Arts & Crafts, Recreation, Outpost
Camping, and more...; lots of great food; a camp sleep-out; all combined
with new and old friends, give the camper a whole range of choices for a
wonderful camp experience.

Camping With Horses
|
|
|
Two special weeks of camping for Campers with their
horses begin the season. Members will house their horses in barns at camp.
Ring and lecture instruction, and trail riding are included. Special
programs will be mailed to all horse members, or may be secured from
Elsie Woolam. Dates of one week sessions are: June 23-June 29 and June 30 - July 6, 2013. (See Horse Camp)

Opportunities for Older Teens
|
|
|
Teen’s age 15 through 18 may apply for Teen
Counselor positions. Counselors volunteer a week's stay, live with the
campers, help the staff with interest groups, and share numerous responsibilities
with other counselors. Write or phone (860)289-4177 for a counselor
application. You must be 15 before July 1 of the current year and must
attend the Counselor Training at 4-H Camp, date to be announced, in
counselor information, mailed in April. Note: Smoking is not allowed!
